The three Fire and Police Commission members who voted 2-1 to rehire a Milwaukee police officer who punched a handcuffed woman in the face have scheduled a meeting for 8:30 a.m. Tuesday to reconsider their decision.
The meeting, scheduled after a public uproar, will take place in room 301A of City Hall.
Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn fired Officer Richard Schoen in May. He was captured on video in September 2011 punching a handcuffed Jeanine Tracy in the face, pulling her out of the back of the police car by her hair and striking her in the stomach with his knee after she was on the floor.
