Milwaukee Police detective shoots teenager during attempted robbery

Authorities were to take Monday to investigate after an off-duty Milwaukee Police detective shot an armed suspect during a robbery attempt. It happened Sunday night on Milwaukee's north side on the 4500 block of North 27th Street just before 6 p.m. Police say the 17-year-old suspect approached the off-duty detective and demanded valuables.
