The man charged with gunning down his 13-year-old neighbor on Milwaukee's south side says he's still angry about how police investigated his claim that the youth had stolen guns from his home.
John H. Spooner offered those thoughts and others in letters and jail interviews with a reporter, Spooner's first public comments since the crime rocked the city in May. He also said he was fed up with his lawyers, hoped for backing from gun rights supporters and was refusing psychotropic medication.
