Trial set for mother accused of abusing two-year-old for soiling himself

RACINE - A woman will head to trial for allegedly putting her two-year-old son's feet in boiling water for soiling himself while potty training. Myrna Staten, 22, had a hearing on Wednesday at the Racine County Courthouse. She will face a judge on January 4th to begin the trial. She quietly sat in the courtroom Wednesday.
