WEST ALLIS - On Tuesday Jan. 22, just after 3:30 p.m., a bank on 67th & W. Greenfield Ave reported a robbery.
"The subject originally entered the bank stating that he wanted to open a checking account," according to acting Chief Charles Padgett with the West Allis Police Department. "He stayed for several minutes while looking around the bank before leaving. He returned approx. 30 minutes later and presented a note to the teller demanding various denominations of money."
