Wis. woman accused of scalding feet of 2-year-old

RACINE — A Racine woman is accused of dunking a 2-year-old boy’s feet into scalding water because she was frustrated with his toilet-training progress. A Journal Times of Racine report said 22-year-old Myrna C. Staten was charged Friday with physical abuse of a child. Prosecutors said the boy had second-degree burns on his feet.
